Our Mission
The LIBRE Project is a collaborative dedicated to helping low-income immigrant families and individuals who live in San Mateo County access public benefits, community resources, and immigration legal services. Our services are available only to San Mateo County residents. Our immigration attorneys and community advocates provide confidential legal assistance, education, outreach, and connections to trusted local resources. We help community members understand which benefits they may qualify for, address concerns about how receiving benefits could affect their immigration status, and support them through the application process. Through strong community partnerships, LIBRE also helps local organizations connect immigrant residents with the trusted information, services, and resources they need. |
