State Disability Insurance (SDI)
SDI is a partial wage replacement insurance program for recently unemployed individuals who can't work at their normal job because of physical and/or mental disabilities. Eligibility:
Paid Family Leave (PFL)
Paid Family Leave (PFL) provides benefit payments to people who need to take time off work to: care for a seriously ill family member or Bond with a new child or participate in a qualifying event because of a family member’s military deployment. If eligible, people can receive benefit payments for up to eight weeks. Payments are about 60 to 70 percent of weekly wages earned 5 to 18 months before the claim start date. Eligibility:
